Marie Gould is an author, a motivational keynote speaker, the Director of Happiness at Mind Over Matter HQ, and Chief Officer of the North Devon Voluntary Service (NDVS). She is a coach, mentor, educator and leader, who specializes in giving inspirational well-being talks to a wide range of audiences, as well as leadership advice and guidance.

Marie’s work focuses on providing practical tips, tools, and techniques that enable people to cultivate a success mindset, allowing them to turn their inner critic into their inner coach and find inner happiness.

After nearly 3 decades in education and a period of burnout, Marie decided to practice what she preached, switching her focus to transform not only her own life but the lives of others. With little help to understand what was happening to her during her burnout, she extensively researched, and whilst learning through her own experiences, she discovered the power of positive psychology. She is now passionate about allowing her struggles to help to eradicate these for others, helping people to live their best lives – which everyone deserves.

Marie holds an MBA in Senior Leadership, and draws on her extensive experience in leadership, education, and training to connect with a diverse range of people. She often works with those who have a strong appetite to make their time on earth really count, as well as organisations who appreciate that their people are their greatest asset and who have, or want to foster, a people-first culture; knowing that looking after their staff is the most productive and ethically sound business model going.

Her signature approach is based on her 5 Steps to Happiness #Blissipline tool kit. This toolkit forms the basis of her book; a simple yet powerful program to help people find their bliss. It’s about learning to love yourself, be grateful, live in the moment, visualise, and therefore manifest, the life you want and so deserve to live.
